Fun slot machine. Like the music and the sound effects. Feels like a game (which is great). Crisp graphics, but what should you expect from a 2013 slot machine? 🙂 I am also a sucker for old school video games, and this feels like the older Marvel vs. Capcom beat-em-up games. Hope they make a slot machine featuring Capcom someday! I would play it everyday!
The Avengers slots features the 6 main characters from the movies, Iron Man, the Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye. You also find their leader, Nick Fury on the slot reel, as well as Loki that makes a guest appearance in the bonus game.
The way you get to the bonus rounds is kinda cool: it is the avengers logo that is the Scatter, and you need at least three of them to get to the bonus round. When the first two has dropped, the game drags on longer for the next ones dropping, intensifying the music and making it exciting if you will actually get past to the next level.
As for the bonus round itself, it is one I like, where if you are lucky, you can keep playing there for quite some time. You are first presented with about 20 avengers logos, and you need to find 3 of a kind of the heroes.
What bothered me a little was that the excitement of winning or losing was taken away at some points. Like the screen updates before the actual character has been revealed. Not that big of a deal, but slightly annoying.
This slot machine would be kinda annoying for those who like their slot playing to move quickly, as there sometimes are cutscenes in the bonus game for example which you can’t skip. Most of the animations can be skipped, but this also is somewhat cumbersome to adjust to.
