Spin Party keeps things relatively simple on the reels. You get familiar, very modern looking card symbols and a host of 7s, bells, BARs, cherries and lemons. Eye-catching are the wild dancers, which are dancing wilds. They’re silhouettes of girls dancing to the music and they cover entire reels, though they only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4.
Of course, you might consider that kind of cheesy, especially since these girls really do dance like the ones you encounter in clubs. If that’s not your cup of tea, you’re going to have to get over it, because the slot is actually too good to ignore. Thankfully it’s possible to mute the dance music that is thumping incessantly over the sound of the reels spinning. And when we did mute it, the gameplay became a lot more enjoyable.

The slot lives off of two main features, but does so incredibly well. During the base game you’ll be seeing the wild dancers usually every few spins. One shows up and she’ll stick around for a free re-spin, regardless of whether you won on that spin or not.

Of course, should you get more wilds, they will award you win another free spin and they’ll always stick around for that one extra spin.
Usually you’ll be playing 6 or 7 free spins, but that’s enough, because here all spins win. Yes, indeed, there’s a guaranteed win on every spin. Add those dancing wilds into the mix and you can walk away will lots of coins.
Beware, though, because it is possible to go 20 spins without a wild and that may seem like a long time. The good news is that high-paying symbols only require two matching symbols on reels 1 and 2 in order to pay out. The bad news is that low-paying symbols pay very little indeed.

Summary
Spin Party is a highly volatile slot. At times it feels like medium variance, but then nothing happens for a long time with only the tiniest of wins here and there and all of a sudden you land free spins and the coins are flying.
The theme may not be for everyone. It’s visually quite striking, but the club music annoyed us after five seconds. And yes, the girl dancers are cheesy. A real disco theme would have been funkier. Then again, NetEnt made a slot like that, so you can always go there.
