Enchanted Crystals is quite charming. You’ll feel as if someone dropped you off in fairytale land. There are plenty of lovely fairies on the reels and the Goblin King makes for an interesting adversary. He also resides over one of the two big features of the slot.
Of course, the harp music and light and airy feel of it all just add to the atmosphere. Graphically the slot is definitely lovely, but comes to its own particularly in the click me feature, where you’re inside dark caves. Somehow this setting is more impressive than the reels.
Enchanted Crystals can be played from 0.20 coins per spin, which is reasonable given that you get 243 ways of winning. Consequently most wins will be fairly small. That means the slot is easy on the budget and you can play it for a long time, if you’re so inclined.
Bonuses
The feature that will keep you going more than anything else are the expanding wilds, which appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. Whenever an Enchanted Crystals wild shows up on these reels, it will expand and add a 3x multiplier to your winnings. It’s easily possible for more than one wild at a time to appear. Also, you get a free re-spin with each wild. That means you get two re-spins for two wilds and three for three. We got our biggest win in the game with just two expanded wilds, but with fairy symbols and multipliers all lined up.
The second feature you will see relatively frequently is the click me feature. Spin the goblin king onto reels 1, 3 and 5 and the feature will take you to the goblin cave, where you have to choose between four paths. Pick one and you get a coin prize and will be taken to the next cave, where you have a choice of three paths. You’ll pick another one and land in the final cave, where you get only two choices. But beware, one path will lead you to the king’s chamber, which hides big money, whilst the king himself will wait on the other path and end the feature prematurely.
Finally, and most difficult to trigger, comes the free spin feature. You’ll need three butterfly scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 to get this one going, but it seems to be quite impossible to get that. Somehow it doesn’t help that the butterflies are taking up the same space the potential expanded wilds.
You’ll get 10 free spins here as well as 5 butterflies that will be flapping across the reels and potentially leave you with 5 wilds. On average you’ll get about 3 extra wilds here. Given that the free spins are not that lucrative, it’s a little strange that you don’t trigger them very often at all.

Enchanted Crystals has a lot going for it. Winning on 243 paylines, expanding wilds with multipliers and a click me feature, which can win you up to 450x your bet, if you make it into the king’s chamber. The theme is charming, albeit not for everyone, and the gameplay engaging.
That the free spins remain so awfully elusive is difficult to understand. There really doesn’t seem to be a reason for it. Thankfully the slot is easy enough on your wallet that you can hang in there for some time in order to try and trigger the free spins and check them out for yourself.
