Game in Action
If you have played the original Flowers then you will know what to expect from this slot. Everything is pretty much unchanged, except the visuals, which have been given a festive makeover. All of the flower symbols have multiple flowers attached, which means that it is possible to land as many as ten in a single payline, even though there are only 5 reels. If you do manage to get all 10 for any of these frosted flowers, then you’ll be looking at a return of as much as 5,000x, with an average of less than half that.
There is also a wild symbol, which is one of the biggest symbols in the game, and one that is worth looking out for.
Bonuses
As with the original game, Flowers - Christmas Edition has a free spins round, unlocked via a scatter symbol. Just like the flowers, this can also have multiple amounts, which makes it hard to know (at first) whether you are going to trigger the bonus round or not. Once you do, you will unlock a minimum of 10 free spins and a maximum of 30, with three other variations in between. All of the spins will also receive a 3x multiplier, tripling all of your winnings, whilst the wild symbol will become a stacked wild.
You can unlock more free spins as you play, and these seem to be fairly common. However, the round itself took some landing, and we seemed to be playing forever before we finally triggered it. This is not unique to us either, as many other players have reported the same issue.

Summary
We’re torn on this one. We were not huge fans of the original Flowers game and but for a sprinkling of snow, there is not much difference between that and Flowers - Christmas Edition. The RTP is good, and whilst a little confusing to begin with, the base game feature is also worthwhile. However, the fact that the free spins seem to be so rare, and that there are no other rounds, makes this a difficult game to recommend.
