Game in Action
Microgaming have tackled the heist theme a number of times, and you’ll also find it on many other slots from many other developers. We’re not sure why they have such an obsession with this genre, but it works and the aesthetics of Bust the Bank also work really well. There are 243 “ways to win” and some solid visuals, all of which have a comic edge.
There are also some impressive payments as well, with the short and stocky bank robber paying the most at 7,500x for 5, and the other robber paying 5,000x for 5. Although you typically want to keep the police out of sight while robbing a bank, in this case you’ll be hoping they make an appearance, as the policeman symbol returns the third highest payment.
Bonuses
Bust the Bank has a few features to get excited about, some more worthwhile than others. The Safe Bonus requires just two bonus symbols and unlocks an instant payment, whilst the Piggy Bank Bonus requires just one scatter symbol and unlocks a smashing wild. These pay well, but not as well as the main feature, which is a free spins round. You will only get 8 free spins for this round, with more scatter symbols unlocking a better multiplier. What’s more, the first and final reels are wild and every time you land a scatter symbol during this feature, then you’ll be given one extra spin.

Summary
There is so much to love about Bust the Bank. Games like this, which offer so much with the features, tend to have very poor RTPs, with symbols that pay very little in an effort to balance it out and ensure it remains firmly in the house’s favor. That is not the case here, and whilst the game is not in the player’s favor, after a lucky streak it certainly begins to feel that way.
The free spins round will always return an impressive amount, and will never leave you disappointed. Add to this the polished aesthetic, the strong RTP, and the other features, and you have a game that deserves a 10 out of 10.
