Slotfather pays homage to the Italian mafia, which is apt when you consider that they have changed the face of gambling over the last 100 years or so. After all, they built Vegas from the ground up and turned it into the Mecca of sin and hedonistic charm that it is today. In this slot, you are invited to help the Slotfather as he looks to take on a new city, placing slot machines in buildings, dodging Tommy Gun fire and earning big bonuses for your troubles.
As well as a multitude of features, the base game is also great fun. The design is engaging, the soundtrack matches the theme to a tee and the animations are brilliant.
Bonuses
There are several bonuses on Slotfather. The simplest of these is the Sneaky Instant Win, where a random win will be added to your bankroll. As for the main bonus round, this is activated when you get three of the Slotfather symbols. In this mini-game you are taken downtown and shown a few buildings. It is your job to place slot machines inside these buildings, with cash bonuses awarded for each one. After you have finished, you will be invited to sit around the table with the Slotfather and his crew, at which point he will reward your good work with more cash.
There is also another instant win bonus round known as the Underboss Scatter and a free spin multiplier round known as the Mob Feature. The best and most generous bonus round is definitely the main one, but this doesn’t come around very often. Luckily, the others will give you a decent return as well, with the Mob Feature coming a close second.

There really is nothing not to love about this game and the only gripe we have is that it might be a touch sluggish on strained connections, due to the complexity of the game.
It is because of games like this that BetSoft are so well loved and so widely respected. After all, any slot that is still fun to play even when you remove the gambling aspect — especially from the perspective of hardened gamblers like us — deserves great praise.
This might not be the best slot we have ever played, but it is certainly in the top 5.
