Game in Action
Alkemor’s Tower comes with a favourite theme, the magical one. There are plenty of magical or mystical slots out there and it is a favourite with developers, because here the imagination knows no bounds. Alkemor is a certainly a recognizable wizard with his long white beard, spectacles on the long nose and dressed in a cloak with a matching wizard hat. He’s standing to the left side, cheering you on, checking on his spells and wielding magic when the elemental spells are spun onto the reels.
In addition you’ll find plenty of other magical symbols, such as gold coins, gems, scrolls, scales, potions, mushrooms and magical rings. Alkemor himself is the highest paying symbol and he often shows up stacked, but rarely in a winning combination.
This slot pays in 243 ways, which means you’re likely to get a win as long as you have three adjacent matching symbols. Five-of-a-kind combinations bring some handsome wins in the base game, but the four elemental spells are the ones you want to cast.
Bonuses
The difficulty in getting any of the bonus features is the fact that you need two magic books on reels 1 and 2 and then a third, special symbol, on reel 3. Whilst magic books are also spinning on reels 4 and 5, it almost doesn’t matter.
Getting one of the four potions on the middle reel will trigger one of the elemental spells (as long as two magic books appear on the first reels).
The water spell will see a huge wave conjured and crashed upon the reels. It will turn the potion and magic books on reels 2 to 4 into wilds. The magic book on reel 1 is simply randomly turned into a different symbol. Wins here can be pretty big.
The earth spell will work in a similar way, but instead Alkemor summon meteors that destroy most of the symbols on the reels, leaving wilds instead of magic books and potion on reels 2 to 4 and replacing all other symbols that were destroyed.
The air spell will conjure a tornado that blows away most symbols on the reels, turning magic book and potion on reels 2 to 4 once more wild and bringing in new symbols to add new winning combinations into the mix.
The fire spell is the rarest and most lucrative one. The reels burst into flames, turning the magic books and potions on reels 2 to 4 wild, but also leaving additional wilds behind.
If you get one of the two books (one with vines and one with a sun clasp), one of the two free spin features will be triggered instead. The book with vines will take you to the natural floor, where all symbols are now flowers and plants. Depending on how many magic books you got on the reels (3, 4 or 5), you’ll receive 10, 12 or 15 free spins.
On the natural floor a vine will randomly appear on reel 3 and devour the neighbouring symbols, revealing coin prizes. There are no wilds here, just as there aren’t wilds in the normal base game unless the elemental spells create them.
The other free spin feature takes place on the celestial floor. Here a black hole symbol will randomly appear on reels 2 or 4 and suck in all the neighbouring symbols, once more revealing coin prizes.
Finally, you can double up all wins by tossing a coin in the double up feature and choosing heads or tails. Depending on the outcome, you’ll either double your win or lose it all.

Summary
Alkemor’s Tower is truly beautiful. The reel symbols on the celestial floor may be the most stunning ones, but we also loved the natural floor and the lovely details here. The main effects when the elemental spells are cast are also wonderfully executed, making Alkemor’s Tower a visual feast.
The game play is solid. We did get frustrated at times, because it’s not all that easy to collect two magic books on the first two reels and then also get a feature triggering symbol on reel three. But we found the wait worthwhile, because wins can be awesome with a little patience. Anyone, who likes plenty of features, will definitely like this slot.
