Super Flip takes a modern, clean and crisp approach to the classic fruit machine theme. The graphics do look good, although they are not particularly exciting. But we get diamonds, four-leaf clovers, stars, horseshoes, strawberries and shiny card suit symbols on the reels.
The soundtrack is lively and a bit dancy, though nothing to get overly excited about. You can leave it on in the background just so it won’t be too quiet around you.
The slot comes with only 20 paylines and can be very volatile. Symbols are often stacked, though not always. That doesn’t mean, however, that wins are any more frequent because of it.

However, the stacked symbols come into play in one of the slots main features: the near win re-spin. Whenever you get two reels of stacked symbols on reel 1 and 2, but not on three and the spin remains without a win, you will get a near win re-spin. All reels apart from reel 3 are locked in place for one re-spin. Whilst the re-spin won’t always be successful, we found it to be good value more often than not. Indeed, we had consistently more big wins here than during the free spins, keeping the funds topped up nicely.
Free spins are triggered when the super flip scatter appears three times anywhere on the reels. You’ll start on 15 free spins and the special feature here is that the reels indeed flip. High-paying symbols thus show up more on reels 1 and 2 instead of reels 4 and 5. That doesn’t mean you’ll win more frequently, but you can win bigger amounts. And since the near win re-spin applies here too, it’s definitely possible to get some really good wins here.
Out of four free spin rounds played, two severely disappointed (one didn’t bring a single win), one was okay and only the last won showed us the potential of this slot with an ultra big win. Then again, we can’t complain, because we only played about 250 spins in total and that means those free spins come around relatively often.

Super Flip may not have the most exciting theme, but we found it pretty good value for money considering how volatile this slot can be. The near win re-spins turn out frequently enough and we only dug into our funds right at the beginning of the game. Once the first wins accumulated we played only with the money we had won.
The free spins can also be incredibly lucrative. We never once managed to re-trigger them, but since they come around often enough, we didn’t complain. Remember that this is a volatile slot, so it’s entirely possible to get a free spin round that is a dud. With a little patience you can get the big wins here as well, though.
