Although there are only 3 pay-lines and 3 reels, there are also a limited number of symbols, which means that wins are fairly easy to come by. The biggest paying symbol is the house symbol, which pays 500x your line bet for just 3 of them, whilst the money bag and the cauldron also pay very well.
Ghouls Gold is not a 3D slot and it does not feature the great graphics or advanced animations that we have come to expect from BetSoft, but for a simple game, which was definitely the intention here, Ghouls Gold ticks all boxes. We love big graphics and big bonus rounds, and whilst Ghouls Gold fits none of those roles, it is a delightful little game and one we wouldn’t feel right giving a low score. After all, the goal was not to create something big and impressive, but rather to create something small, something cute and something that would return regular wins for loyal players, and that’s exactly what Ghouls Gold does.
